Beginning Beekeeping

If you're curious about what it takes to keep bees, or interested in starting your own backyard beehive, you'll love this introductory class. Led by beekeeper Mary Beth Reid, participants will learn about the inner workings of the hive, the life cycle of bees, their role in the ecosystem, as well as practical information for setting up your own apiary. No prior experience necessary. Suitable for beginning to intermediate level beekeepings.
