Honeybee Hive Painting

The art of painting beehives has existed for centuries, and the colorfully decorated boxes continue to delight beekeepers today. In honor of earth day and pollinators who support our food systems and habitats, join our resident beekeeper Mary Beth Reid for a morning of beehive painting to decorate and celebrate our honey bees.

While you paint and enjoy a sweet treat from the farm, you’ll learn about the lives of bees in Spring and what they’re doing now to prepare for the season ahead. 

Hives, paints and stencils will be provided. Open to all ages.
